The Verreaux's Eagle-Owls have an uncanny ability to hear in the dark. Their enormous, asymmetrical ears are like satellite dishes, pinpointing the faintest rustle of a rodent or the flutter of a moth's wings in the dead of night. This makes them apex predators in the darkness, silently swooping down on unsuspecting prey with laser-like precision.
