Reindeer in A Paddock during Evening Time - Amazing Animals of Siberia - Wildlife Video in 4K HDR
In the hushed heart of Siberian twilight, dusk envelops the world in indigo. Beneath stoic pines, a winter paddock transforms into a captivating ballet. Reindeer, coats kissed by frost, glide across the snow. No soundtrack but winter's whispers: settling snow, wind through pine boughs, rhythmic clicks of antlers. Their eyes hold timeless wisdom; each step leaves a fleeting imprint in the pristine white. This 4K nature relaxation film is a portal to a world where time slows. Breathe deep, inhale crisp, pine-scented air promising a serene night. Lose yourself in the mesmerizing rhythm of hooves and fur. This is your personal invitation to appreciate the simple beauty of a winter evening, to witness the quiet grace of wild creatures in their sanctuary. As reindeer weave their silent dance, let their rhythm lull you into a state of serene wonder. This is Siberia unplugged, unfiltered, and utterly enchanting. Siberia's reindeer are giants among their kind, tougher than you think! They silently stalk winter landscapes, swim like arctic mermaids, and guide themselves across endless miles each year. Partners to native cultures, their future's threatened by melting ice, but these silent supermodels aren't giving up without a fight. Remember, they're more than just Rudolph's cousins - they're the Arctic's bravest heroes! This is the reindeer husbandry managed by Sergei Russkin, a Khanty reindeer herder. The deer enclosure is situated in the forest near the Khanty village of Russkinskaya, in the Surgut region of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. In the morning, the reindeer are released to graze freely in the forest and swamps, where they dig for moss under the snow. As evening approaches, the herd returns to the enclosure, where the reindeer are provided with compound feed, along with treats such as bread and frozen fish. Filmed in February 2022, our filmmaker Evgeny Romanov presents this mesmerizing video, capturing the enchanting beauty of the evening and showcasing the marvel of observing these beautiful creatures. Utilizing his Panasonic Lumix GH5 camera, he offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the wild at any time! Whether you use this video as a serene escape or a moment of relaxation, let the captivating scenes transport you to the heart of nature. Whether you seek tranquility or a connection with wildlife, let this footage serve as your portal to the untamed world. CARTA: The Recent History of Tattooing in Europe and North America
This talk presents a new account of the development of professional tattooing in Britain and America since the late 19th century. Research based exclusively in primary sources reveals that the story of what kickstarted the creation of commercial tattooing, and what sustained it, ultimately becomes intelligible as a small and interconnected network of transnational artists and – crucially – clients. These newly clarified networks problematise both the date and form of the customary notion of a “Tattoo Renaissance” in the 1970s and 80s. Moreover, this research presents a more diverse account of the transmission of design, technology and influence throughout Euro-American tattooing than had previously been understood both within the industry, and beyond. Research is drawn from Dr Lodder’s next book on the history of the modern Euro-American tattoo industry, due to be published in late 2024 with Yale University Press. Local Lens: A brothers’ guide to Scotland with Colin and Ewan McGregor
Hollywood actor, UNICEF ambassador and director, Ewan McGregor and his former pilot brother, Colin reconnect in Scotland against the backdrop of the Cairngorms’ lush mountains, shimmering lochs, and the majestic trees of the Hermitage forest. First stop along the epic road trip is the Newtonmore Grill Truckstop. Locally known as “the best kept secret in the Highlands,” the no-fuss, no-frills café is a scenic spot to fill up on haggis lasagne, with a strong cup of tea. An excellent meal before an exciting, winding adventure. For a gentle hike, the brothers explore The Hermitage, a forest woodland in Perthshire, with staggeringly tall trees, a medieval history, and Ossian’s Hall folly overlooking the Black Linn waterfall. As all explorers know, you should always pack a snack. In preparation for a bigger hike in the Cairngorms mountain range, Colin and Ewan stop off at the Aran Bakery in Dunkeld, a bright and airy foodie magnet on the charming Atholl Street, opposite The Scottish Deli, a great place to eat before hiking in the Highlands. They fill their bags with a perfect adventurer’s lunch: a sausage roll and two sandwiches, one venison, one smoked trout. Now that the packed lunch is sorted, the second hike can begin. As Ewan says, “Scotland has the most beautiful scenery. There’s something about the air, color, and remoteness of it all.” Nowhere can this be more felt than the Cairngorms. Snowy in winter, purple with heather in summer, the dramatic peaks of the U.K.’s largest National Park draw outdoorsy types and are often named in “best places to visit” lists. The brothers then make a detour to Taymouth Marina, the lochside “wild wellness” retreat, with family friendly water sports, Loch Ness Monster pedalo boats for kids, a giant trampoline, and the resort’s biggest draw: its HotBox Spa. The brothers brave the “wellness plunge” (a slide into the freezing loch), warming up afterwards in Scotland’s largest hot tub. As the evening draws in, it’s time to rest and toast marshmallows at The Dell of Abernathy. Set deep in the forest, this collection of six stone cottages has been decked out with impeccable taste— an ideal place to stay in the Highlands for large or small groups. Experiences include supper clubs and meditation rituals, swimming in the black peat-soaked loch, and gathering by the firepit. To round off the day, the brothers head to a local favorite—a live music night at the The Ewe Bar within the Fortingall Hotel, a listed building with 11 rooms, traditional Scottish interiors and a 2,000-year-old yew tree, which, according to local legend, is the oldest tree in the U.K. But will they see the northern lights? Watch our documentary here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuFv4iF8wgg&t=1s Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” while planning our honeymoon & became addicted ;) So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went back home to “normal life.” We started this channel to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with living on the road and found a new passion for capturing our travels through video. So we did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time! After ~2 years of van life, we are back to full time international traveling! And now we are in our 9TH YEAR of finding the best adventures the world has to offer :) We are incredibly grateful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey! 00:00 Canada's longest train! 01:40 day 1: Prestige Class room tour 10:46 day 2: Rocky Mountains 18:12 day 3: full train tour! 26:42 day 4: first shower ;) 30:58 day 5: last day! 32:08 bloops :)
